Putting the future of Chaffey in your hands

Member for Chaffey Tim Whetstone is inviting Riverland and Mallee residents to get behind a Community Survey for the chance to win a $250 voucher.

Mr Whetstone said the survey, launched today online and due to arrive in Riverland letterboxes this week, will provide a roadmap for the development of the Riverland into the future.

“I want our region to thrive and be a place that everyone enjoys, and that’s why is it important for the community to share their views and complete the survey,” Mr Whetstone said. “I am asking participants to share their experiences, concerns and suggestions across of range of areas including the response to COVID-19, employment and health services, plus surveying ideas such as UBER and inland fishing licences.”

“As an added incentive, by spending ten minutes to fill out the survey, participants can go into the draw to win a $250 Betta Home Living voucher.”

“Understanding what our community views as priorities and gauging community satisfaction with the several topics, will help guide planning of important future policy, in a way that reflects the values and needs of the region”

“I very much value the opinion of the Riverland people and I want to know what matters most to our community, what people believe is working and where we need improvement”

“The survey findings will help me to better represent my constituents and concentrate on improving areas that are important to the region.”

“I know locals are passionate about our community and want to ensure it continues to prosper and grow, and the survey is a good way of making sure we get the framework right.”

“I encourage locals to get their responses in as soon as they can and have their say to help shape the future of the Riverland community.”

The Riverland and Mallee Community Survey is open until November 31, 2020. A hard copy is available for a reply-paid return or can be completed online via Mr Whetstone’s Facebook page facebook.com/TimWhetstoneMP or via his website: timwhetstone.com.au
